Five Lakes – One Waterscape

Around Füssen, five beautiful swimming lakes line up one after another. From the turquoise Alatsee – a mystical mountain lake just 50 minutes on foot from the hotel – to the family-friendly Hopfensee with its "Allgäu Riviera" to the imposing Forggensee with boat tours and castle views.

Weißensee offers quiet natural idyll with playground and sunbathing areas, while Alpsee and Schwansee invite you to swim with the Royal Castles as a backdrop.

All lakes are easily reachable by bike or on foot. Water temperatures reach a pleasant 22-24°C in summer.

Right on our doorstep: A natural lake with a woodland lawn and its own in-lake Kneipp area. The focus here is on peace and nature. In the morning, you often have the water to yourself – a place to dive in, practice Kneipp, and breathe.

Bavaria's fifth-largest lake (15 km²) with boat tours, sailing and the famous castle views. Cycling loop (32 km), beaches and water sports.

Lake Alatsee

The mystical mountain lake with turquoise water – just 50 minutes on foot from the hotel. Up to 22°C in summer. Lake circuit hike (2.5 km) through nature reserve.

Lake Hopfensee

The "Allgäu Riviera" – warmest pre-Alpine lake (up to 24°C) with beach, pedal boats, surf school and cosy lakeside cafés. Ideal for families.

Lake Weißensee

Quiet natural swimming lake with clear water, large sunbathing areas and playground. Surrounded by forest and meadows – the perfect spot for relaxed swimming days.
