Castles & Culture

In the Footsteps of King Ludwig

Füssen is the city of kings. Here the most famous castles in Bavaria were built, here history breathes at every corner. From the world-famous Neuschwanstein Castle to Hohenschwangau Castle – the childhood home of King Ludwig II – to the late Gothic High Castle above the Old Town.

The medieval Old Town with the baroque St. Mang Monastery, the Reichenstraße and the Museum of the Bavarian Kings complete the cultural heritage. All just minutes from our hotel.

We recommend booking tickets for Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau online in advance – capacity is limited and tickets sell out quickly.
